The residents of the Virgin Islands are some of the kindnest people on earth. You might think you're in paradise but to them it's just home. They have the same problems, worries and difficulties as anyone would have anywhere. Meet them, greet them and get to know them. Learn their opinions - enjoy their sense of humor and philosophy of life. You'll be better for it.
Worship the Water?
Leave no trace... As we mentioned before, the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea is Saint Blue's North Star. Keeping the underwater environment clean and heathy is a responsibility that falls on all of us. That means no dumping or spilling anything in the sea. If you see trash, dive down and pick it up. Make it a challenge for everyone on the boat, it's the perfect way to practice your freediving skills. Maybe the winner gets a free shot of Cruzan rum! Or, video it, post in and share it on our instagram page. The sailing world appreciates eco-heroes, not to mention freedivers who can retrieve dropped cell phones.
The ultimate goal is to preserve the ocean for our children and their children's children. It's impossible to describe the luminous color, texture and other-worldly nature of a coral reef. The point is - we don't have to describe it! We can have our guests experience it firsthand and understand how heavenly the ocean truly is.
"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever ..."
